The Wax looks to be "shedding"

I would wish to rate these shoes higher as a result of they're snug and appearance quite nice, however the waxy coat on the skin of the shoe looks to be shedding off when solely some of wears in pedestrian settings. The shoes go along with a label saying that the colour might leak somewhat, however when solely having worn them three times, i am noticing that the colour is not only leaking, it's falling away altogether, leaving a grayish space behind. This considerations me, notably since they need not even been in light-weight precipitation. If I wear them and it rains, am i able to expect them to be fully ruined? If therefore, what was the purpose of "waxing" the suede within the initial place? maybe they're going to keep at this level. I hope so. however if it continues i'll feel pretty ripped off.
I have a reasonably wide foot and also the 12m match simply fine, cosy however not tight. Here's hoping the colour does not fade away fully.
